Intensive Therapy Program for men in Santa Barbara and throughout California
The Tune Up
12 weeks. Real work. Actual change.
Most people know what they want to change.
The hard part is doing it consistently, with support, and without falling back into old patterns the moment life gets busy.
That's what The Tune Up is built for.
This is an intensive 12-week cohort that combines the depth of individual therapy with the power of group work — plus a weekly check-in call to keep you moving between sessions. It's structured, it's focused, and it's designed to get results that stick.
Here's how it unfolds:
-
Weeks 1-3: Most people walk in having never said the real version of their story out loud — not even to themselves. These first three weeks strip away the performance. You'll get an honest, unflinching read on where you actually stand, and what it's actually costing you.
By the end of Phase 1, you'll have: a clear, honest statement of where you're really at — and a group of people who've heard it and aren't going anywhere.
-
Weeks 4-6: Once you can see clearly, the next question is why. What's the thing underneath the thing? These three weeks are about catching your own patterns as they happen — live, in real time, not after the fact. You'll learn to spot the exact moment you pull back, deflect, assume, or go along instead of staying real with someone. Then you'll name it — out loud, specifically, so it loses its grip.
By the end of Phase 2, you'll have: a precise, owned understanding of the barrier that's been running the show — and practice catching it as it happens.
-
Weeks 7-9: Insight without action is just a more articulate version of stuck. This phase is where you actually try something different — small at first, then under real pressure. You'll rehearse it with the group before you take it into your life, and debrief what actually happened, no spin.
By the end of Phase 3, you'll have: at least one real, lived proof point that you can do this differently — not in theory, in practice.
-
Weeks 10-12: Change that doesn't have a structure behind it fades. The last three weeks are about building what keeps this going after the program ends — and closing the loop with the group that watched you do it.
By the end of Phase 4, you'll have: a concrete plan for what happens next, and a clear, felt sense of what's actually different in you now.
Over 12 weeks, the group digs into:
Where your patterns came from: family, relationships, the stories you've told yourself
How you see yourself and how that's shaping everything else
Grief, shame, and the things you've been carrying longer than you should
What makes this different is the structure.
Every week you get three touchpoints — an individual session, a group session with your cohort, and a check-in call. That's not one hour a week and hope for the best. That's real accountability built into the process.

The cohort is mixed gender, which matters. The dynamics that show up in the room reflect the dynamics in your actual life — and that's exactly where the work happens.
Is this the right fit?
Before joining, you'll have a one-on-one interview with Taylor to make sure it is. This isn't a formality, it's the first step in taking this seriously.
If you're ready to stop circling the same patterns and take action, this is where you start.
